I’m sick and tired of people proclaiming the multi-cultural society a failure. Those people forget that we’re in the middle of building a society in which citizens have many different cultural backgrounds. This comes with a lot of problems that we have to face in order to move on. Denying is no option, there’s no turning back to Dutch identity!

I walked the streets today, stirring up heaps of leaves, looking for what’s new. Autumn is my kind of season; nature is quietly fading, falling asleep for winter, giving space to think things over. The big November storms seem far away. Melancholy is just around the corner but the broad bright future street persuades us to move on. Life’s full of opportunities…

I am spending all the time I have working to earn money. This is not how it should be. I need my friends, I miss nice conversations and visions of the world! Is this what money does? Makes you poor?
